"Only the prices were detained"
In September 2026 we posted a newspaper-style satire about our prices. Nobody was detained.
On 26 September 2026 we posted a mock newspaper front page: "Dubai hijab seller detained: her prices appear to be the reason." The caption made it clear: satire. No one was detained, only the prices were.
Why we posted it
It was our way of answering a question we hear a lot: how are the prices this low?
